About EBC Yellowstuff R

We believe EBC's new Yellow stuff R compound represents one of the best performing and most competitively priced track pads. Unlike most competition pads it works well from cold as well. Red Stuff in its latest Ceramic guise is an excellent choice for high powered road cars with the odd foray onto circuit. In lighter cars it will cope fine with track use. Green Stuff is a fantastic value upgrade for road use. It is not a track pad.

April 2008 - Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit endorses EBC Brakes - After extensive race testing, a deal has been reached to equip all of the Silverstone race school cars with EBC Yellowstuff brake pads. Commenting on performance, Robin Baxter (MIMI) workshop supervisor for the Silverstone Experience says "Our previous pad suppliers product lasted only 800 miles and required new discs every second set of pads. With the EBC Yellowstuff at 1600 miles, the pads are only half worn and the discs are like new." Adopting EBC Yellowstuff has reduced costs and improved driver safety.

At Balance Motorsport We are big on bed-in. This means we make sure you are fully versed in how to bed each pad in with our bed in guide. Incorrect bedding in of pads is the number one cause for disappointment. Take it too easy and when you lean on the pad they could glaze. Go to fast to soon and they could glaze. Either way you can buy the very best pads and get about the same performance as chocolate if you don't bed in correctly.
